The last week of March witnessed unleashing of findings by Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, wherein it was stated that zinc renders support to immunity in two diverse ways. These findings have also been published in “Blood”, a scientific journal.
Firstly, the team, using mice, did discover that zinc is needed to develop a specialized kind of immune cell, thereby prompting regeneration of critical immune organ post-damage.
