Indian Online pharmacy company to add 12 fulfillment centers by 2020

On Thursday, 9th May, an online pharmacy based out of India stated that it would add 12 new fulfillment centers all over the country by 2020 which would help the company better its last mile delivery of medicines.

According to a statement, the online pharmacy right now has over 14 fulfillment centers which cover about 3 lakh sq. ft.  The 12 new fulfillment center would help in faster delivery time, improve efficiency and improve its reach to the customers.   

The company did not state the amount of investment it would make to open these 12 new centers across India.

Pradeep Dadha, the founder and CEO of the company stated “We have a goal to make medicines affordable and accessible to every Indian. We are setting up fulfillment centers in tier 2 cities in India to achieve the company’s goal.”

The center would be strategically located across the country to make medicines readily available. It would also help in the processing, storage, and delivery in the underserved areas of the country, he stated.  

The online pharmacy has over 50,000 SKUs from prescription drugs for chronic and recurring ailments as well as non- prescription products for health, wellness and personal care, according to the company.
