Closed Loop Medicine (CLM) receives GBP2.1 million in Funding in a pre-series A from a group of investors.

Closed Loop Medicine(CLM), a health startup based out of Cambridge has raised GBP2.1 million for venture capitalists. The startup which helps doctors and healthcare providers to give personalized treatments to their patients raised capital from Longwall Venture Partners, Marlet, Cambridge group, and IQ Capital.

Apart from these investors, several Cambridge Angel Investors took part in the round of funding which included well know investor and serial entrepreneur, Sherry Coutu.

The startup is a therapeutics company which uses proven drug treatments with digital therapeutics. The company uses data and insights from patients to tailor make drug and also non-drug therapy and also provides a faster way to get the resulted outcome.   

Dr. Hakum Yadi, the Co-Founder of Closed Loop Medicine, stated that this investment marks a significant milestone for its founders and team.  He also added that the team is ecstatic to raise capital from experienced investors in deep technology and health care industry.

The health tech startup was founded in 2017 and initially secured its seed round of funding from Cambridge Angel Network. The founders of the startup are Dr. Hakim Yadi OBE, Dr. Paul Goldsmith,  Dr. Felicity Sartain, and Dr. David Cox.
